Educational Qualification
Candidate ke paas kisi bhi recognized university se Graduation (Bachelor’s Degree) honi chahiye. Kisi bhi stream se graduation kar sakte hain – Arts, Science, Commerce ya Professional degree. Final year students bhi Prelims exam de sakte hain. Age limit: Minimum 21 years.
Age Limit
Minimum Age: 21 years. Maximum Age: 32 years (General). SC/ST ke liye 37 years. OBC ke liye 35 years. PwD ke liye additional 10 years ki relaxation. Attempts limit: General – 6, OBC – 9, SC/ST – Unlimited (32/35/37 years tak).
Selection Process
Stage 1 – Prelims (Objective Type): 2 papers – General Studies Paper I aur CSAT (Paper II). Stage 2 – Mains (Descriptive): 9 papers total including Essay, GS Papers, Optional Subject. Stage 3 – Interview (Personality Test): 275 marks. Final merit list Mains + Interview ke aadhar par banayi jayegi.

Salary / Pay Scale
IAS/IPS/IFS Officers ko Pay Level 10 se 17 tak salary milti hai. Junior Scale: Pay Level 10 (₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500/-). Senior Scale: Higher Pay Levels. Cabinet Secretary Level: ₹2,50,000/- (fixed). Saath mein DA, HRA, TA, Medical, Government accommodation aur anya perquisites bhi milte hain.
